Art movements
Can you summon ukiyo-e or art nouveau by name?
Movement names do appear in training captions, so they fare better than most style words — but the spread is wide.
The quality prefix is cleared here. It pushes a polished anime finish that collides with a style instruction, exactly as in the medium comparison.
Every cut below shares one seed, one base prompt and one sampler setting, and differs only by the tag marked in amber.
What each cut shows
ukiyo e- Kimono and a Japanese card layout. Not the flatness and hard outline of a woodblock print — closer to a change of subject than of technique.
art nouveau- The most accurate of the four — a Mucha-style medallion frame with organic curves.
impressionism- Read as subject rather than technique: landscape paintings on the wall instead of brushwork.
minimalism- The background empties and elements drop away, and the drawing itself simplifies too, down to plain eyes and almost no shading.

Takeaway
Movement names work in proportion to how nameable their visual grammar is. Art nouveau, with its frames and curves, reproduces; impressionism, whose essence is brushwork, gets read as subject matter.
How far this result reaches
All four weaken considerably with the quality prefix in place. Drop it when you are asking for a style.
Measured on a single Stable Diffusion family checkpoint. The same tags can behave differently on NovelAI, Midjourney or another checkpoint. This is a reference point, not a verdict.
