Angle tags control camera viewpoint and framing. They are one of the most under-used levers in prompt writing — a single from_below or dutch_angle tag can turn a static, ordinary composition into a cinematic one without touching any other part of the prompt. The category covers vertical axis angles (from_above, from_below, eye_level), framing (close-up, extreme_close-up, wide_shot, full_body), and special camera motions or orientations (dutch_angle, over_the_shoulder, fisheye, drone_shot). Each tag corresponds roughly to a real-world cinematography choice with predictable psychological effect: low angle conveys power, high angle conveys vulnerability, close-up conveys intimacy, wide shot conveys context. AI image models learned these conventions from millions of annotated film stills and photography, so the cues work reliably. For full-body character shots, always include full_body in the angle selection — otherwise the model tends to crop to upper body by default.

Use at most one angle tag per prompt. Multiple conflicting angles (from_above and close-up) produce muddy results. Pair from_below with tall subjects (heroes, buildings, monsters) and from_above with small or cute subjects. Dutch angle works best for action or tension; leave it off for calm portraits.
These categories pair naturally with angle / shot tags — adding one tag from each builds a more cohesive prompt.
