Butterfly wings
Butterfly Wings
What this cut shows
Insect patterning and translucency; the most intricate of the four.
A closer look
Pale apricot wings with black veins and bands, blue crescents and a red spot on the hind wings, and long trailing tails: a pattern much like a swallowtail's. Split into fore and hind wings with no bones at all, it is the one structure unlike the other three, and it covers more of the frame than any of them. Only the wing tag changed, yet this is the only cut whose sleeves turned into wide drapes hanging to about the knee.
