A closer look

cyan and magenta color scheme took hold strongly: signs, windows and the reflections on the wet paving turn most of the frame cyan and pink, with other colours limited to a yellow sign on the left and a few lit shopfronts. The signs are full of lettering that looks English or Japanese, but almost none of it forms a real word. holographic advertisements did not produce translucent images in mid-air; the ads came out as neon boards fixed to the buildings.
