Outerwear — how the silhouette shifts
Name a kind of coat — does the cut change with it?
Outerwear settles half of a figure's silhouette, and each name fixes a closure, a length and a collar — which makes it easy to check.
Every cut below shares one seed, one base prompt and one sampler setting, and differs only by the tag marked in amber.
What each cut shows
trench coat- Double breast, belt and knee length all arrive — even the storm flap at the shoulder.
peacoat- A miss: not a coat but a dark top. The short double-breasted form did not carry.
duffel coat- Four toggle fastenings and big flap-covered patch pockets — the parts that make a duffel recognisable.
blazer- Notched lapel and breast pocket; the most accurate of the jackets.

Takeaway
Garments whose names encode structure — fastenings, pockets — come out right. Ones defined only by silhouette, like peacoat, get missed.
How far this result reaches
Outerwear hides what is under it. A top specified alongside will mostly not be seen.
Measured on a single Stable Diffusion family checkpoint. The same tags can behave differently on NovelAI, Midjourney or another checkpoint. This is a reference point, not a verdict.
