Masks — what is left when the face goes
Do mask tags know the shape and how it is worn?
A mask covers most of the face, so the mask itself does the expressing. None of the four here covers the eyes, though, so the gaze still reads.
All four drew a mask you can recognise.
Every cut below shares one seed, one base prompt and one sampler setting, and differs only by the tag marked in amber.
What each cut shows
oni mask- Red face, horns and fangs, worn over the face rather than pushed aside; her own eye shows through the eyehole.
gas mask- Filter canisters and straps are right, in the half-face form that leaves the eyes visible.
surgical mask- Sits correctly over nose and mouth, with the pleating in the fabric.
plague doctor mask- The beak and the leather come through — the most unusual shape of the four and still accurate.

Takeaway
Mask tags draw a recognisable shape, and all four came out worn on the face. None of them covers the eyes, so the gaze survives in every cut.
How far this result reaches
A mask discards any expression tag. Move the emotion into posture or hands instead.
Measured on a single Stable Diffusion family checkpoint. The same tags can behave differently on NovelAI, Midjourney or another checkpoint. This is a reference point, not a verdict.
