A closer look
Of the three colour cuts, this is the closest to an ordinary anime illustration. Even enlarged, the face and clothes are filled evenly with crisp outlines, and there is no paper grain to point to. Hair, pose and the brick path came out almost the same as in the watercolour cut, so the pair isolates the rendering, and in this set the clearest sense of a material came from watercolor (medium). The blouse neckline is simply gathered, with no lace.
